New Music Tuesday: Maine - Henney

LISTEN ON SOUNDCLOUD

Henney is the second single of 2014 for from Long Island's no. 1 underground r&b artist, Maine. This song is where ghetto r&b grabs a hold of pop and collides with the party at the back of the club. Henney is the music lover's drinking song of the year, hands down. Sure there are lots of drinking songs past and present, but there has long been the need for a dedication to the hood's favorite bottle.

Henney is Maine's follow up to a great debut release in “I Can't Explain It;” and the cap off to a very successful year which ended in Maine being nominated for five Forbes Music Awards. He has most definitely proven himself worthy of rotation in any playlist this year; spending over 14 weeks at no. 1 on the IBFU Radio Live-XM radio airplay charts and releasing two AmazonMusic best sellers.

##### "Henney has been cleared for the Mainstream Top40, Urban and Urban AC radio formats. Already registered with BDS, Mediabase and ready for worldwide rotation. For promotional radio version of the song please email myrocspace@gmail.com and for personal use the song can be downloaded on iTunes, Google Play and AmazonMusic or streamed on Spotify." #####

New Underground R&b Artist 'Maine' Debuts 'I Can't Explain It' Official Music Video

For Immediate Release

"New underground r&b artist Maine has released the official music video to his new r&b song 'I Can't Explain It' to YouTube."

Watch the full music video for 'I Can't Explain It' below.

One of the hottest new YouTube trends is most definitely hot new r&b songs with even hotter music videos. Over the years past YouTube has grown quite fond of the pop era, embracing the more rugged side of pop which mixes in a bit of hip hop even more as well. New underground r&b artist 'Maine' would refer to such a thing as ghetto r&b, a style of music which fuses the rugged natures of hip hop with the softer more poetic sounds of the pop culture.

Maine is one of the hottest new male r&b artists of 2014. With his sales increasing on iTunes and AmazonMP3, and his new r&b songs being in rotation on radio stations like IBFU Radio Live-XM and Shade45 he is well on his way to becoming one of the many 21st century pop sensations. This is what brings us to the topic of discussion, his latest single 'I Can't Explain It' would be a perfect description of this exact fusion style of music. The theme of the song is simply unexplainable attraction, illustrated in the music video between Maine and his two featured female counterparts. Undoubtedly one of the top hip-hop/pop music videos this year, to a song off what could be one of the top new r&b albums of the year in 'Ghetto and Blues'.
