"In this review we will look into music from another level.  We are all fans of music in some way shape or form, but we all like music for our own reasons. This review should not be mistaken for a guideline to what music should be, but a simple comparison of the music being reviewed to what is considered standard."

== Overall Review ==

If I were asked to describe this mixtape with one sentence I would say; Welcome 2 My Party vol. 1 is creative, but it lacks the quality direction it needs to be a classic project. The ideas that were incorporated in this project were on point, but the there seemed to be a very small amount of effort put in to play when attempting to bring the ideas to life. The recording quality was a huge miss on this project, something that may have possibly been fixed during the mastering process, but that process was apparently skipped as well.

Overall I give this project a 6/10; for its creative content, good lyrical delivery but poor audio quality, lack of captivating hooks/punches, production and topic choices. To elaborate a bit further the ideas of what to do with this project were good, but the project just lacked the sheen professional swagger. Nothing besides the ideas were on point. He-Man Huff definitely proved to the masses that he had what it took to drop some hot 16's, but he never really wowed me with any of the verses or hooks on this project.

== Lyrical Breakdown ==

The lyrics on this project were good, but not great. When He-Man Huff I hear the talent, but I don't believe the hype. He does not give me the energy that I would like to hear from an young independent artist. This could be a result of poor recording equipment, which tends to make artists record more on the timid side and shy away from loud, confident lyrical delivery. This may also just be a lack of passion, or connection to the lyrics, which is one thing that a ton of artists tend to have. A dis-connect from the lyrics can give you a dry, boring delivery that just doesn't win over your audience. Whatever the issue is it needs to be fixed immediately.

== Production Breakdown ==

Production does not consist only of beats, it also consists of overall sound quality. As far as beats are concerned, He-Man Huff made some good choices. As for quality of vocal recording and mastering, I cannot say the same. This project reminds me of that first recording you make in your friends bedroom with a dynamic mic hung in a closet, cool edit pro first edition and no knowledge what-so-ever when it comes to how to engineer. This takes a massive amount of points away from this project.

As a critic I have to eliminate all personal connections I may have to the artist, and deliver an on point review. This sometimes makes me pass off as somewhat hostile towards some of the artists that I review, but this is in no way shape or form an attack on artists who record in their best friends closets. This is just a warning and a bit of advice. Sometimes it is just better to spend that cash on a better recording studio, and take your time putting together quality music. Quantity never made a millionaire out of a musician.

== Originality Breakdown ==

As far as originality He-Man Huff kind of straddled the fence. He had some creative and original ideas but his delivery, and lyrical content put him right back in line with the typical artists. Puss, money, weed etc... etc. I heard nothing brand new while listening to this mixtape. Some of the hooks had a real original edge like "Paper Route", or "Real Nigga", but even on those songs when the verses began I heard a cliche style rap.

The song "Paper Route" could have taken a different approach as to speak from a perspective sort of like a paper delivery boy, but speaking of a paper boy that actually picks up money instead. "Real Nigga" could have talked about the things fake people do when a real person shows up or the opposite, what they won't do when a real person shows up, either way there could have been more originality.

== Conclusion ==

As we end all of the mixtape, album, and promo single reviews, I will answer the tell tale question that is on everybody's mind. If I were approached by He-Man Huff and asked to purchase "Welcome 2 My Party vol. 1" would I? Yes I would, because I hear an extreme amount of talent in this young rapper and I believe that he is capable of doing much better than this. I always support the thought of an artist making it somewhere later on in life.

He-Man Huff, please get yourself some new recording equipment, or go to a professional studio. Also make sure you master your projects before releasing them to the public. Make sure you dig deeper into your creative mind next time as well. Give people more topics that are directly related to you and not just your thoughts of women, money and whats real in today's society. You can be the change that everybody wants to see in the music industry.
