King Primetizzle -King Never Sleeps
Official Album Review

Lyrics: 7/10
Originality: 8/10
Production: 9/10
Listen to it here and now!

Some of you may very well remember that a few weeks ago I did a preview on this album, and if you do I am sure you are as excited as I am to see what this album is all about. King Primetizzle puts his all into his mushc and that is what makes him so unique. So without further waiting, here is the result of the review.

Track 1 - King Never Sleeps Intro

The intro was cool, I really liked the flow, and the message within the words. The beat was pretty good as well. The chants were definitely un-needed, and took away from the production. Starting off with a nice quote from Martin Luther King was not a bad idea either. Still though I must admit, this intro did not pack the punch that we are used to hearing, from the Ludacris', and Jay-Z's of the world. I definitely expect more fire in the next round.

Lyrics: 7 - Originality: 8 - Production: 7

Track 2 - World Famous

Lyrics wise this song started off very weak, but picked things up a bit on the second verse. The hook was not at all what I expected when I hear a title like "World Famous", the song was pretty much carried by the production this time around, and just does not live up to the title.

Lyrics: 6 - Originality: 7 - Production: 8

Track 3 - Can't Stop

This one was a breath of fresh air. Primetizzle definitely came with some fire lyrics, of a semi positive nature, displaying both sides of his personality. The production was amazing on this track as well, and to keep it real there is not much bad I can say about this track. Despite a slightly dull moment at the end of the first verse, Primetizzle definitely murdered this track.

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 9 - Production: 9

Track 4 - Flexin

Every album now a days needs a track with the type of energy Flexin comes with. The hook is absolutely ear catching, and the verses are entertaining enough to give the track the rest of the edge that it needed to keep the fans interested. Not much more to say about this one except, press play, and do ya dance!

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 7 - Production: 8

Track 5 - Give It To Me

Yet another banging record for the world to dance to. The lyrical content is up to par for the most part, and the beat is absolutely blazing. There is nothing that this track lacks. It is the full package when it comes to what a real record should be now a days. Very entertaining!

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 8 - Production: 8

Track 6 - Solo

Lyrics on this record absolutely started off the wrong way. This was obviously just a writing session on record, with no absolute direction. The production was on point once again, but I would have loved to hear more flow, and more lyricism.

Lyrics: 5 - Originality: 6 - Production: 8

Track 7 - No More

Now we are back to some good music on this track. "No More" is another much needed track on this album right here. Primetizzle speaks some real talk on this record. I think that this is at this point in the album the stand out of "King Never Sleeps". This beat is absolutely fantastic, and the finished product overall is very original. Primetizzle gives us a page out of his life with this one.

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 8 - Production: 9

Track 8 - No More

Now we are back to some good music on this track. "No More" is another much needed track on this album right here. Primetizzle speaks some real talk on this record. I think that this is at this point in the album the stand out of "King Never Sleeps". This beat is absolutely fantastic, and the finished product overall is very original. Primetizzle gives us a page out of his life with this one.

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 8 - Production: 9

Track 9 - K-Otic

Probably the most original, and energetic flow on the album from King Primetizzle. The beat is absolutely bonkers and everything about this track is on point. When he says on this track that his flow is chaotic, I can honestly vouch for that statement.

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 8 - Production: 9

Track 10 - Slippin

"Slippin" is the single off of the album "King Never Sleeps", and it delivers a powerful message to the masses. King Primetizzle hits the world with the question "What are we gonna do?", and goes deep into the mentality of people in today's society. Shedding light on a lot of the problematic issues today, I tilt my hat to Primetizzle and give this song two thumbs up.

Lyrics: 9 - Originality: 9 - Production: 9

Track 11 - Not Giving Up

"Not Giving Up" is an emotionally driven record, that gives a few more pages from the mind of the rapper. This record was definitely one of the hottest I have ever heard from Primetizzle. The production is clean, and the lyrics are on point from beginning to end. Definitely a track that can motivate the masses.

Lyrics: 9 - Originality: 9 - Production: 9

Track 12 - Theatre & Hip Hop

Another emotionally warped record. I love this record because it is as personal that I have heard from Primetizzle. The hook is not what I expected at all... I feel as if it could have been something else. The production is absolutely amazing on this record as usual, and the quality is radio ready.

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 8 - Production: 9

Track 13 - Talk About

Apparently a stab at the fake emcees, gangstas, and thugs out there. This is one record that I must say has a fantastic message, but just did not have the punch it needed in the lyrics to match. I give an "A" for effort but this record could have been stronger lyrics wise. The beat was also pretty typical, and although very entertaining could be considered an industry knockoff.

Lyrics: 7 - Originality: 7 - Production: 7

Track 14 - The Life

This record was definitely one that could catch the ears of the fans. As a critic though, I have to say this; "The Life" is a simple echo of the song "Flashing Lights" from Kanye West. Not at all the fault of Primetizzle but definitely a problem that we are having with a lot of producers now a days. They try so hard to make a quick buck that they end up biting off of their favorite records a little more than they can chew. This is a record that I absolutely cannot respect as a fellow producer. As for the feature, Primetizzle could have left this girl M-Class out of the picture. Her voice is great, but she has not yet gotten a hold of her personality. She has not decided who she is on a record as of yet, when it comes to how she will spit her raps on wax. Still I say to her keep on doing your thing.. some day soon you will be great.

Lyrics: 5 - Originality: 5 - Production: 5

Track 15 - Take Me Back

A very smooth record right here. Primetizzle spits a storyteller of love, and infidelity. Having a girl and losing her, now wishing you had her back. This is a side of Primetizzle that I have never heard before. The record is amazing, and the production complements the song perfectly.

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 8 - Production: 9

Track 16 - Danger

As I listened to this track I heard something that I really liked. Primetizzle came with a flow that I have never before heard from him. I however think that the lyrics did not match the concept of the beat. This definitely should have been a banger for the clubs. It seems like another writing session on wax yet again, just a bunch of rhymes on a beat.

Lyrics: 6 - Originality: 7 - Production: 8

Track 17 - In a Trance

Definitely a club banger right here. Although I never agree with using such a sample of a hit record this early on, I must say that the song is pretty well done. The lyrics are on point, and the beat is blazing. King Primetizzle gives us a track that we can club to till the early morning right here.

Lyrics: 7 - Originality: 8 - Production:8

Track 18 - Lead Me On

A song about a girl that everybody wants.  King Primetizzle tells the story of some of the worlds hottest, good girls gone bad. The flow Primetizzle comes with on this beat is definitely one of his best ever. This song is amazing, but I feel like it could have definitely used some hook. Not the best production on "King Never Sleeps" but definitely still some grand work on the keys.

Lyrics: 8 - Originality: 9 - Production: 8

Overall, I have to give this entire album two thumbs up for the incredible work, and and effort put forth to create it. King Primetizzle really did his thing here. Despite the few records that were rated  a bit low on the album, Primetizzle let loose a bit of prime time. This can definitely be considered a grand slam, and a thriller for all who support independent music. This album is available on iTunes and I am recommend everybody go and get themselves a copy. I know I for sure will be getting my copy A.S.A.P.
