Independent Rap Artists Reviewed: D Tha Don

Review for music created by: D Tha Don

Ok... here we are once again with an independent rap artist review. This is one that I am actually excited to write. I produced alot of this cats stuff and I am proud to say that. He has a style that the game needs, and has been missing. Tha Don is a Louisiana representative, and one I am sure they are excited to have on the job. With flows based on ambition, and hunger for more, he is one savage emcee.

From beginning to end his mixtape Don of the Rap Game vol. 1 is a classic. One of my favorite tracks on this mixtape is Shout Out To My Haterz. I can visualize this being one of the hottest tracks on the radio, and I do think that every DJ should give this a spin. It has so much motivational power in it the song that I see it used in movies, and campaigns everywhere. Then we have songs like, Big Dreams, and How I'm Livin that are just so well put together, and well worded that they make you drift away and imagine the world in a different light. I really have said enough... everybody should listen once to this young kid, and show love.

I would give this mixtape by "D Tha Don" a 4 out of 5... alot of growth left for the young artist, but still for being as young as he is, this is a wowser!!!!!!!! 2 thumbs up for the content.

  1. The young man is talented point blank, his storytelling draws you into his journey on what is you would say is epic.

  2. This kid talent goes beyond his years of age. His lyrics reminds of the hip Hop era, when storytelling was prerequisite of mc's. I call him the Second Coming.
